In our school in Pau (France), we saw the theory, and in Clearwater I think it was more practical.

Amine Oulkasse - Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Pau - December 2013

The oral presentation approach is better because we had to speak in English, and we worked as we would have in a company.

Clemence Illand - Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Pau - November 2013

Darilyn Ek - Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Pau - November 2013

Between the theoretical knowledge that I learned in class and the practical knowledge that I acquired here in Clearwater Beach, this is exactly what we should have before working in a company.

Audrey Seyer-Pages - Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Pau - November 2013

In Clearwater, I learnt how to use a software to create a website and to write newsletters

Antoine Bouju - University of Bordeaux - October 2013

My internship took place in Florida in a city called Clearwater and more exactly on an island in the Gulf of Mexico, which is the tourist part of the city. This city was named “Florida’s Best Beach Town 2013” by the newspaper USA Today!! I carried this three-month internship out with the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce. The main objective of this placement was to turn my academic skills and theoretical knowledge into a professional multi-cultural experience. During this internship, my main task was to improve the efficiency and the design of the Chamber of Commerce website (www.beachchamber.com). As a communication tool, a website for this kind of non-profit organization needs to be as efficient as possible for its members. I believe that this American work experience in a Chamber of Commerce will improve my résumé and lure recruiters!

Clement Baderot - INSEEC Paris - August 2013

This experience taught me a lot, not only in term of skills or tools, it helped me improve myself, being more organized and rigorous, and for the first time in my professional life, working as a team. I guess I learned a valuable lesson about how to lead a new business, how to run it and how to develop it. This is the kind of knowledge you rarely get when you are doing an internship.

Clement Baderot - INSEEC Paris - August 2013

I also thank Mr. Beau for being our professor, he taught us a lot about Florida but also about America and how business works there. He taught us a lot about marketing and also gave us many pieces of advice and tips in order to help us with our future business relationships. Mr. Beau is very passionate in his job, he is very involved in it, and I really enjoyed being his student for 3 months.

Louis Roubert - INSEEC Paris - August 2013

The vision of Mr. Beau as an entrepreneur and as a Franco-American citizen has shown me how business activities, local behaviors and cultures are so different from what I thought on some points, and in spite of my past experience here in America.

Olivier Guerrero - INSEEC Paris - August 2013

I think that these business experiences gave me good training and increased my employability because it was an enriching experience that reinforces and complements my skills.

Rodolphe Muller - INSEEC Paris - August 2013

Liz Nardi - University of Bordeaux - December 2011

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you again for the time you've spent with us… Well, it's not exactly about the time itself, it's more what you've passed on during this time... I reckon I'm speaking for the whole class here: you really knew how to give us a "breath" of serenity that became essential for all of us.

Delphine Lamy, Université de Bordeaux 2010-2011

Wendy Duvignau, Lucie Lefrevre and Romain Couture - University of Bordeaux - 2012

« cette expérience fut extrêmement intéressante pour les membres de l’équipe, car elle nous a permis de découvrir un aspect du commerce que nous ne connaissions pas (ou peu), et cela nous apportera assurément une expérience en vue d’études futures, ou même au niveau professionnel si nous sommes en face d’une étude de ce type à mener »
